Fractional CFO for Your

You gain CFO-level leadership embedded in your team.

Financial clarity and commercial discipline to scale with confidence - without the cost of a full-time CFO.

About Breeze Advisory

Embedded CFO partnership for your stage of growth

Breeze Advisory works with growing businesses that have outpaced basic finance but don’t yet require a full-time CFO.

As complexity increases, cash becomes less predictable and reporting struggles to support confident decisions. Leadership teams often find themselves spending more time reacting to financial information than using it to plan ahead.

Traditional CFO models are rarely built for this stage — often too expensive, inflexible, or disconnected from the day-to-day realities of SME growth.

Breeze Advisory bridges that gap.

Through an embedded, fractional approach, we work within your business,  not above it or outside it, bringing financial clarity, commercial discipline, and forward-looking insight that support confident leadership decisions and sustainable growth.

We work with businesses across Australia and New Zealand in a range of industries. Our experience is strongest with professional services, creative, franchising, and multi-site service businesses navigating growth and operational complexity.

Services

Breeze Advisory services are designed to support businesses through growth, complexity, and change.

Rather than offering fixed packages or one-size-fits-all solutions, our services are designed to flex as your business evolves.

This model works particularly well for growing SMEs, typically between $2M and $20M in annual revenue,  or on track to reach that scale.

You can access the right level of financial leadership at the right time, without committing to support that no longer fits or outgrowing the model too quickly.

Our services work together as an ecosystem, supporting both strong financial foundations and confident leadership decision-making.

Founders launching, restructuring, or resetting financial foundations.

This may include:

  • Xero and financial system setup

  • Budgets, cash flow forecasts, and pricing support
  • Founder operating rhythms and practical training

Outcome

Clear, scalable financial foundations that support confident early decisions.

Growing businesses that need reliable, structured financial information they can trust.

This may include:

  • Accrual-based bookkeeping under CFO oversight
  • A structured and consistent month-end close
  • Team-based delivery with continuity built in
  • Pricing based on transaction volume, not perceived value

Outcome

Reliable, decision-ready financial information leaders can trust and use with confidence.

Businesses facing defined financial challenges or opportunities that require focused CFO input.

This may include:

  • Profitability and pricing strategy
  • Cash flow stabilisation and forecasting
  • Efficiency, resourcing, and productivity analysis
  • Balance sheet strength, capital planning, and governance

Outcome

Focused financial insight and clear recommendations that support confident decisions.

HELLO I’M

Bree Taylor

I founded Breeze Advisory after repeatedly seeing capable leaders forced to make high-impact decisions without the financial clarity a CFO provides, not because ambition was lacking, but because the traditional full-time CFO model didn’t fit their stage of growth.

With more than fifteen years of experience in commercial, financial, and operational leadership roles across high-growth SMEs, franchising networks, and complex service-based businesses,  I’ve worked alongside founders, boards, and leadership teams to strengthen cash flow, improve profitability, and build financial structures that support sustainable growth.

My approach combines strategic thinking with practical execution. I work as an embedded partner, bringing structure where needed, challenge when it adds value, and calm leadership when decisions feel heavy.

Testimonials

Founder, Phillips Head Joinery

As we invested in new equipment and growth, cash flow required stronger discipline and visibility. We needed confidence around timing and financial impact.

Breeze Advisory introduced a clear structure to our cash flow and investment planning.

We now make growth decisions with control and certainty, protecting stability while strategically building Phillips Head Joinery.

Founders, MGR&CO

We knew launching our new firm would require strong financial discipline from day one.

Breeze Advisory brought an independent CFO lens that sharpened our strategy, strengthened budgeting and forecasting, and added rigour to our decision-making.

With a clear financial structure in place, we can hire, invest and grow with confidence, and deliver for our clients without second-guessing the numbers.

Director, Structek

Before working with Breeze Advisory, we spent hours each month trying to stay on top of bookkeeping and compliance, yet we still didn’t have clear visibility into profitability or cash flow.

Breeze Books brought structure, accuracy, and discipline to the financial side of the business.

With reliable reporting and proper compliance, we now have clear insight into performance and far greater confidence in managing cash and making decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I really need a CFO, or is my accountant enough?

Accountants focus on compliance and historical reporting. A CFO focuses on forward-looking strategy, cash flow, profitability, and decision-making.

What’s the difference between bookkeeping and CFO advisory?

Bookkeeping records transactions. CFO advisory interprets the numbers, builds forecasts, and guides commercial decisions.

When is the right time to engage a fractional CFO?

When revenue is growing, complexity is increasing, or decisions carry higher financial risk.

How does fractional CFO support work in practice?

We embed into your leadership team on a flexible basis, providing structured reporting, forecasting, and strategic financial guidance.

Will you work with my existing accountant or bookkeeper?

Yes. We collaborate closely to ensure alignment between compliance, reporting, and strategy.

What outcomes can I expect from CFO advisory support?

Improved cash visibility, stronger margins, clearer reporting, disciplined growth, and confident decision-making.

How We Work Differently

We aren’t a "CFO on Call" or "Virtual CFO"  service offering external advice.

Breeze Advisory provides embedded Fractional CFO support, working alongside leadership to connect financial insights to the business's real drivers and deliver practical, actionable recommendations.
